You may make changes by using our Manage Appointment option at precheck.labcorp.com. This method requires that you know the confirmation number plus the first and last name of the patient. You may more easily modify your appointment on the confirmation page that we sent you by email or text. This page already has all of your appointment information, and allows you to pick a new day and time if your plans change. If you need to pick a different location, then you will need to cancel the appointment and make a new one at a different location.

Yes. You may schedule a visit for any person by supplying their information and allowing us to verify their coverage (when applicable) before the visit.

You may schedule a visit up to 90 days in advance.  By going through the PreCheck process before you arrive, when the day arrives for your visit, all your paperwork is done. When you arrive, you will just let us know you have arrived and you are ready to be seen with no further verification required.

If your location is Labcorp Express enabled, then you can scan your driver’s license to let us know you have arrived, and that’s it.  If your location is not yet Labcorp Express enabled, then proceed to the window and let us know you have arrived.  Either way, you can relax and know that your Patient and Health Coverage information is accurately entered and securely stored.

No! Once you go through the PreCheck process the first time and enter your health coverage and contact information, we’ll remember you as a known patient. You will then skip straight through the screens to the summary page; and from there make any necessary edits, or accept and receive your confirmation.  After your initial use, it gets easier and faster.

We request that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. However, if you are early and we have earlier times available, we can see you sooner.  If you arrive later than your appointment time, you will have the flexibility to choose the next available service time.

• Completing all of the check-in information before you get to a Labcorp patient service center saves you time when you arrive.
• PreCheck allows you to choose a time of service that is convenient for you. We do our very best to honor your reserved visit time.
• The PreCheck process allows you to securely enter all the information we need to perform your lab services, and review and approve your data before you arrive.

To schedule an appointment, go to our Labs & Appointments page and search for the patient service center nearest you. Once a site is chosen, click “Schedule an Appointment” and follow the instructions. Please keep a copy of your confirmation number.

Test requests can be accepted on non-Labcorp forms. Our staff will verify the testing details with the ordering provider. Please bring the test request form your doctor provided, along with your insurance information and identification, to your local Labcorp facility. You can use our website to find locations near you and to schedule appointments here.

Most test orders are valid for at least six months (unless your doctor has specified otherwise). If your lab testing order is more than six months old, please contact your doctor for a new form.

Your role in the performance of a lab test is to provide a specimen that will be analyzed in a laboratory. The specimen you provide might be a small amount of a body fluid, such as blood, saliva, semen, or urine, or a sample of stool or hair. You can be assured that Labcorp staff will make the specimen collection process as safe, quick, and comfortable as possible, while safeguarding your dignity and privacy. When visiting a patient service center, you should bring the following information with you:

• The Labcorp test request form from a health care professional requesting laboratory testing
• A current insurance identification card (Medicare, private insurance or HMO/PPO)
• A photo ID (for example, a driver's license or employee identification badge)
• A health spending account card, credit card, or debit card

Children must be supervised at all times while at our labs. Please plan ahead. Note: You may not bring children inside the collection area during a drug screen procedure.

Generally, minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Labcorp is required to obtain authorization for the collection procedure and the billing of tests as ordered by a physician. If you are not the child’s legal guardian, you may need to provide a notarized statement signed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian that authorizes you to provide this permission.

Lab results are delivered to your Labcorp Patient™ portal account. Log in or register online. For more information, you may also see our Notice of Privacy Practices.

In most cases, lab test results delivery times should not exceed two weeks. The most common reason for delay in receiving results is inaccurate or out-of-date personal information on record with your health care providers or in your Labcorp Patient™​ portal personal profile.

Please check and confirm the following:

• Your Labcorp Patient portal personal profile information is up to date, complete, and accurate.
• The personal information on record with all of your health care providers matches the personal information in your Labcorp Patient portal profile. Health care providers include your primary care physician, specialists, hospital professionals, and all Labcorp specimen collection labs.

If you have been authorized to view the lab test results of other people in your account, select Dependents from the left menu, then select the person whose lab test results you would like to see. If you do not see lab test results for that person, be sure you have access rights to that person’s laboratory information. 

Depending on the complexity of the tests, it could take several days to complete the tests. You should contact your doctor's office if you have any question about the availability of test results, or you can continue to check your Labcorp Patient™ portal account, as results are posted based on a fixed schedule as indicated above.

Patients should discuss their results with the physician who ordered the test or a member of the physician's office staff. Please do not contact the lab where your specimen was collected with questions about your test results.

Your information is private and is not shared with anyone outside Labcorp and its affiliate organizations. It is used for employment purposes only.

Once a position is filled, the candidates who are not chosen for the position are automatically notified via email.

Yes. Once you create an account on the Labcorp careers site, you will have the option of creating a search agent using the ‘Notify Me’ option. This option is located on the top of our careers page once you have logged into the system. Simply click on the icon labeled ‘Notify Me’, and follow the instructions. 

Screening questionnaires and skills assessments cannot be edited once they are completed. Unless otherwise noted, they are not timed tests, so please take your time to think about your answers before completing the questions.

When you have completed the application, you will receive a congratulatory message telling you that your application has been completed. At this point, your application is forwarded to the recruiter.

You can update your account by accessing the Labcorp Careers center at www.labcorpcareers.com and clicking on Already Registered?  Login Here.  Select the option to ‘Sign In’ in the top right corner of the screen. Once you have entered your e-mail address and the password, which you selected when you initially created your account, your information will be available for review within seconds.  To update your contact information, select ‘Edit Profile’ in the left hand navigation.  You will be prompted to update your professional and educational experience prior to submitting your application to an open position.

Compensation is based on the amount of related work experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, and other evaluated skill sets for the position. The compensation package is sometimes quoted after confirmation of the above components.

When your application is received, you will be sent an acknowledgement via e-mail. If a hiring manager determines your skills match the needs of the position, you will be contacted for further screening and consideration. We recommend you use the same e-mail address each time you visit our careers page.

No. Once you have submitted an application, you do not need to contact Labcorp to provide additional information unless you are specifically requested to do so. All the information required to consider your application is within the online application.
