Dr. Kulharya is board certified in clinical cytogenetics. She earned a PhD in Biology with emphasis on clinical cytogenetics from University of North Texas and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and Texas Department of Mental health and Mental Retardation. Dr. Kulharya is a founding fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and holds membership to the American Society of Human Genetics. Dr. Kulharya has co-authored over 65 abstracts and peer reviewed publications. She has nearly 30 years of experience as a cytogenetics laboratory director.
