Dr. Vera Lattier received her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Oregon State University and her MS in Pathology from National Taiwan University. She completed post-doctoral training at the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health. She is a current member of the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI). Her responsibilities include human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing, HLA disease association testing, HLA antibody testing, and immune cell function monitoring. Before joining Labcorp, she worked as a research and development scientist in drug discovery and assay development. She has discovered several genetic biomarkers associated with disease prognosis and has published numerous scientific articles in international journals.
